Back to School Challenge

You will need to sign up for this challenge.
The window to sign up is July 2nd - August 2nd.
Please sign up from the announcement you receive by email if you can.
If unable, please contact me and I will enter you.
You may also sign up at the July meeting.
No late sign ups. We will exchange squares at the August meeting.
Participants will bring in 10-inch squares of the same fabric equal to the number of participants (you can get 12 squares from one yard of fabric).
We will distribute one square of each fabric to each participant.
Participants will be challenged to make a quilted project (complete with quilting and binding) using the fabric provided.
Challenge: The quilt may be any size but must incorporate a triangle, circle, rectangle and square in the design or quilting and must include a piece of each fabric somewhere on the front of the quilt. You may add any other fabric as needed to complete the challenge.
As soon as we know the number of participants, we will let you know on August 3rd how many 10-inch squares to bring to the August meeting. Be prepared to stay for a few minutes after the meeting to get your bag of fabric squares.
You will work on this challenge and be prepared to show your completed challenge project at the October meeting. There will be a “good” drawing for all who bring in a completed project.
